Induction cooktops generate heat only where it is needed – in the base of the pan. What does this mean for you? More safety and greater convenience. The lower temperature keeps both big and little hands safe from burning. Not only that, but an induction cooktop brings 2 litres of water to a boil twice as fast as a glass-ceramic cooktop, which also saves a great deal of energy.

Unlike most 4 zones induction hobs, the 13A cooker hob is easy installation, as the unit can be plugged into a normal mains power socket. However, don’t get too excited, since this limits the power to around 2800W in total. While that’s fine on a single burner, switching on further burners will distribute the total power, limiting heat-up speed.

Plug&Play Feature

Although it promotes easy installation with the plug-in function, but that limits total power to a conservative 2800W… slowing multiple-pan heat times dramatically. If you’re unlikely to have multiple pans on the go at the same time, the GIT470SP is great value and would look grand in any kitchen.

Intelligent Timer & Pan Detector

Programmable built-in timer, which ranges from 1 to 99 minutes, will turn the hob off automatically when it counts down to 0 and pan detector works when you take the pan off without turning off the power, machine alerts for a minute and shuts down automatically. Suits for all kind of flat cookware.
